1. About the service

Waifu Love Letter (the "Service") is an AI entertainment and pen-pal SMS product operated by The Otaku Box, LLC ("we," "us," "our"), located at 1717 N Street NW, Ste 1, Washington, DC 20036. The Service sends friendly text messages from an AI character to subscribers who opt in, and allows subscribers to reply and chat. By subscribing to or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By opting in, you represent that you are 18 or older and that you are the account holder of, or have authorization to use, the mobile number you provide.

3. SMS program terms

• The Service sends recurring automated marketing and conversational text messages.
• Message frequency varies.
• Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
• Text STOP at any time to cancel and unsubscribe.
• Text HELP at any time for help, or email support@theotakubox.com.
• Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase.
• Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
• Attempt to harass, abuse, or harm others through the Service;
• Send content that is unlawful, threatening, or infringes the rights of others;
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications;
• Provide a phone number that does not belong to you or that you are not authorized to use.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of these Terms.

The Waifu Love Letter brand, characters, artwork, message content, and all related materials are owned by The Otaku Box, LLC or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service or its content without our prior written permission, except as permitted by applicable law.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that messages will be delivered on any particular schedule.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Otaku Box, LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time. The current version of these Terms will be posted on this page with its effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
